What would have been done with a rusted 1955 Porsche car that had laid wasted for 41 years in a Californian bar? Well, in case you are wondering of what happened, the rusted-out remains of that outdated 1955 Porsche 356 Speedstar was actually sold for over $152,700 on online auction marketing plat form, eBay!.
According to the seller, danshan 1, the car was parked in the barn when it developed “an ugly noises” in 1974 where it remained for 41 years. He further stated that his researches indicated that the Speedstar was No. 212 of 1,700 built in 1955.
A Californian Porsche Restoration Company owner, Rod Emory of Emory Motorsports said that the buyer might be able to restore the car between $200,000-$250,000 worth of work. He added that the finished car would be going up as from $400,000 and upwards and expects that the price for the collectible car could be up to $500,000 within the next couple of years
