
There’s no denying that things have changed a lot since the days that Boomers, Gen X, or even Millennials were growing up. Kids’ childhoods today are quite different than what it was like thirty or forty years ago. There are certain routines from our childhood that were so simple and comforting that we sometimes wish we could go back to those days. Here are some of the childhood routines we grew up with that kids today are missing out on.
#1: Watching Saturday Morning Cartoons and Eating Cereal
As a kid, Saturday morning cartoons time was sacred. There was nothing quite like waking up early, while your parents were still snoring in bed, and rushing to the TV to watch a couple of hours of cartoons while sitting too close to the screen. We wish we could do it nowadays as adults, but even if we could, we know it just wouldn’t feel the same.
