Not only is this an insane example of plastic waste, but it will also be much more difficult to peel off the cob than the original husk. Sometimes, businesses try to be so efficient that they go too far and ultimately become less efficient.
What was supposed to be an innovative way to showcase clean, ready-to-eat corn has turned into a resource waste and extra time on the consumer’s part to remove the air-tight plastic. Now, if only shapewear worked as well as this plastic wrapping, we all could look as good as those corn cobs.
