Nails by the Illuminati

What kind of company numbers their nails? Unless it’s not actually a company but instead a secret organization that keeps the world running and our toilets flushing. At least, that’s where we thought these numbered nails came from.

In reality, these nails were sold by Sears. They were a part of an old kit home. The numbers were put on the nails’ heads to help the DIY builder hammer the nails in the right position. A majority of these kit homes were built between 1904 and the 1940s. Sadly, you can’t find any more kit homes on Sears’ shelves. These things have been long gone before most of us were even born.
