2. Little Women (2019)
Little Women is an old coming-of-age classic novel that was released in 1868 and 1869 in two volumes. It was written by Louisa May Alcott and is considered a semi-autobiographical novel. Given its popularity at the time of its publication, sequels and spinoffs were written as well.
Given its status as a literary classic, it’s been adapted to both stage and screen numerous times. Most recently, there was an adaption directed by Greta Gerwig, a filmmaker who is also currently riding on the success of the Barbie movie.
