Social media platforms are great for expressing yourself, sharing your thoughts with others, or sharing moments of your personal life (if that’s the kind of thing you’re into). Twitter, however, is considered the platform of clever comebacks and controversial conversations. It’s known as a place where people say what they think without giving it too much thought, for better or for worse. Here are some of the funniest comebacks people have spotted on Twitter.
#1: Animal Friends
Vegans will be the first to tell you that they are vegan. By posting food pictures, animal cruelty video clips, or telling everyone to boycott fur companies, animal rights enthusiasts aren’t afraid to express their opinions on the topic, even if it is on their most recent post on Twitter.
PETA has been famously defending animal rights for decades. While they have good intentions, their ability to express them properly is occasionally questionable. They missed the mark with this post, that’s for sure. I’m not sure how many of us have cows for friends anyway, but I guess it isn’t too late to start.
