#29: Thanks, Google
Google claims to have charted about 98% of the inhabited world, but it still has some shortcomings. You’ll get nothing but a blank blue ocean if you look up the Mariana Trench on Google Maps. To be fair, no humans live in or around the deepest underwater trench on Earth.

We can’t expect some poor Google Maps driver to take a dip into the deepest place on our planet. Heck, only a few people have ventured into the trench, and fewer people have actually reached the bottom. For now, the Mariana Trench is a place we can only visit in our imaginations.
