People Clearing Their Conscience on Social Media

We’re a little sensitive when it comes to books. The person below admits to stealing hundreds of dollars-worth of books from the 5^th grade book fair. While everyone should have access to literature and be afforded the opportunity to read, essentially stealing money from hardworking authors isn’t the way to go about it.

Here’s hoping that was the first and only time this person partook in book thievery (or any kind of thievery). Of course, it’s entirely possible that the child didn’t try to resell the books but instead gave them out to their classmates a la Robin Hood. They were the Robin Hood of reading. We like to hold on to that image instead.
