The current hottest thing for Disney is live-action films, and if they decide to make a live-action version for The Little Mermaid, we nominate Cardi B.’s outfit, which looks as if she’s a beautiful pearls that stepped out of an oyster. If this was a list of the most extravagant, outrageous red carpet dresses, there’s no doubt in our minds Cardi B. would have won first place. She also wore a matching pearl necklace and headpiece, to complete the undersea-princess look.
Remember Miley Cyrus’ minimalist tuxedo? This extravagant outfit is the word of the same fashion designer, Thierry Mugler. If you recognize a vintage quality to the dress, it’s because it’s taken from the 1995 Mugler Haute Couture collection. As you can see, her skirt was rather tight, and perhaps that’s the reason why it took a team of people helping her along the walk of the red carpet; but it was worth everything that it took to have an extraordinary look as this one.
