Abul Bajandar, 25, suffers from a rare inherited skin disease called Epidermodysplasia Verruciformis, for the past seven years and he is the fourth man in the world with the tree illness.

According to Dr Sen, a notable physician and coordinator of the Burn & Plastic Surgery Unit in Bangladesh, said It was the first time to see this rare disease in Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) Bangladesh, and that it was referred to them by doctors of Gazi Medical College in Khulna.

Bajandar, who married in 2011 and fathered a three-year-old daughter, soon lost all functions of his hand and had to give up his job as a van driver. The Doctors at the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) will now decide on his treatment after forming a medical board of experts.
