McDonald’s ceramic mugs

McDonald’s used to sell ceramic coffee mugs to its breakfast diners. The mugs weren’t particularly interesting, but they did sport the classic McDonald’s logo and had a “good morning” message on them to brighten our mornings. But over time, these mugs lost their popularity, and they were slowly taken out of production.

Today, you’ll receive your mug in a paper cup lined with plastic, which only makes it harder to recycle. At least ceramic can be reused in tiles and dishes, but apparently, despite its go-green efforts, reducing plastic consumption isn’t really on McDonald’s agenda. You can pick up these vintage coffee mugs from private sellers online.
