The founder of Little Caesars Pizza paid Rosa Parks’ rent for years
The late Micheal Ilitch, the founder of Little Caesars Pizza, was kind in many ways that have only come to light after his death. One such act was helping the iconic civil rights activist Rosa Parks pay her rent for over a decade.
Upon hearing that Parks was robbed and assaulted in her home, Ilitch took action by helping her move to a new apartment. He wanted to make sure she felt safe in her own home.
