See How This Guy Brings the Absurdities of Life Into a Comic Strip

Swimming with the Fishes

This short comic strip reminded me of the frustration you feel when you’re trying to get away from civilization for a bit and enjoy nature, but fail miserably, because you end up in a place full of other people. This happened to me so many times on trips or vacations.

You crave a little peace and quiet and just want to get away from it all, but then you find yourself in a resort full of other people. These illustrations can always be interpreted in different ways, but what I see here is a guy who went snorkeling, in hope of seeing a coral reef and beautiful tropical fish. Instead, all he got was a crowded beach full of other people. Bummer.
