Working Remotely
Often when working from home, you have to deal with a chaotic and loud family. This is especially true if you have kids. You have to sit at your work desk, attend a zoom meeting, and pretend your kids aren’t screaming and turning your house upside down in the background. It’s often better than them crushing into the room while you are on your meeting.
But the parent in you can’t help but be anxious and wonder what is happening outside your office door. The more curious you get, the stronger the urge to leave the meeting becomes, and the longer the session lasts. But you pretend all is well. At this point, you almost wish to excuse yourself to go out and check what’s going on to check on the warzone that is your house.
