When you think of Happy Meal toys, they are probably not worth that much. These cheap, plastic toys are sold to millions of kids, usually as a tie-in to an upcoming movie. But McDonald’s Happy Meals have been around since 1979, over 45 years (I know, we’re old). This begs the question: have there been any toys that might be worth something today? The short answer is not really, as these were cheaply made and mass-produced toys. But some go for a decent amount on eBay. We’re here to look at 24 toy lines from different eras and see if they’re worth anything today. Did you hold on to any of them?
#1: Furby Toys (1998)
In 1998, Furbies were everywhere. These strange, owl-like creatures captured kids’ imaginations because they acted so lifelike (well, for late ’90s toys, anyway). These McDonald’s tie-in toys consist of a plastic Furby figure with some fuzzy hair to top it. Since it’s a cheap Happy Meal toy, it doesn’t talk; if it does, you better see an exorcist.

These toys are not worth too much. You can get the entire set for around $15 before shipping and taxes, and they’re not much more expensive still in the plastic. If you’re a Furby collector, there you go!
