There is a general consensus in society that when your parents get old, you will return the favor and look after them, as they did you when you were a child. But there is a very big difference between choosing to look after someone and having them forced upon you… Especially after so much time has passed.

But it seems like not everyone is in it for the long haul like so many assume… What happens to the people that had a terrible upbringing and don’t feel like looking after their parents after everything that happened in the past? Well, they just throw their divorced parents into a nursing home and call it a day.
