#23: From Best to Last

Best Products was founded in 1957 and became popular among the many catalog stores at this time. In the 1970s, they even made nine stores with strange designs, including one in Houston that looks like its top half got blown off. That’s why this picture looks like something out of the apocalypse. Sadly, changing habits and competition meant that Best Products was no longer the best around. In 1997, the business liquidated all its stores, ending the business.
