Same tiles in every restaurant

McDonald’s higher-ups had a pretty good idea of how to make their restaurants appeal to kids around the country. All of their restaurants looked the same, from their grimy tiles to their less-than-comfortable seats. But there were other things like the smells, the ambience, and the overall sense of feeling at home, regardless of which restaurant you visited.

If you visited a McDonald’s restaurant back in the 80s and 90s, you’ll undoubtedly remember the floor designs. It’s not that they were fancy or anything, but they were incredibly unique, which is ironic since you could find the same exact tiles in every restaurant across in every state.
