#10: Translucent Electronics
One part of the “Y2K aesthetic” is those see-through gadgets made from translucent colors. From computers to controllers, technology was evolving fast. Being able to see inside our gadgets with fun colors helped give us some comfort in an ever-changing landscape. See-through tech still exists, but most devices have a single color. Everything is so boring now!
