New Yorkers are weird – ask anyone who’s ever lived in New York. Of course, we’re talking about New York City, not the state, which are like two different universes. Where else would you spot a person walking around carrying a peacock as if it were a small bird or a talking parrot?

Riding the subway with dogs (unless they are in a bag) is strictly prohibited, but riding the subway with a free peacock isn’t – in what world does this make sense?
