Yes, controlling your anger at work – when you work in retail – is a job in itself. There are so many aggravating things you have to deal with on a daily basis – from impossible rude customers to unsupportive bosses and over-chatty coworkers – that controlling your anger really is a job in and of itself.
You’d have to be a saint to never get angry when you work retail. We’re only human, and it’s only natural that we’d get upset from time to time. Of course, you have to keep your cool around customers and coworkers – you can’t go around yelling at people and punching stuff. So, it takes a lot of self-control.
