#1: Movie Buffs
As kids, we often don’t understand things, and we trust the adults around us to guide us and teach us what’s right and wrong. This person’s grandma didn’t care about teaching them right from wrong; she was only concerned about being a cool grandma.
So, she would buy pirated movies from a local Chinese woman while the movies were still showing in the theaters. Naturally, her grandson was stoked to be able to watch these blockbusters at home. What kid wouldn’t be? That is, until he realized it was actually a crime… then, it didn’t seem so exciting anymore.
