Road accident waiting to happen

Do you remember the lane merge that lasted all but 10 feet or so? Well, this one is infinitely worse than that. Although this concrete slab isn’t very long, it is very three dimensional. And with a reflective surface or street lamps nearby, it’s not hard to imagine cars losing a wheel or bikers flying off of their vehicles when colliding into this… thing.

If you’re wondering what purpose this thick slab of concrete serves, you’re not alone. It might just be a remnant from the previous divider, or maybe someone just doesn’t like motorists in general. But there’s one thing for certain: it’s a road accident just waiting to happen.
