Wasp Crackers

Wasps are eaten as fully grown adults and in the larval stage. Boiled, sauteed, roasted and fried, they taste somewhat buttery and earthy. They are also made into crackers. Emperor Hirohito of Japan preferred the taste of boiled wasps with rice.
