Who’s hungry
Engineers draw inspiration from all sorts of things. For instance, a plane’s nose is shaped like a bird to create lift. The creator of Velcro designed his infamous invention after the burdock plant. And then we have these animators who designed a flying vehicle off of a fudgesicle.
We’re not exactly sure how aerodynamic this vehicle is. It looks pretty clunky, but it can speed across the surfaces of alien planets at high speeds, so we guess its weird design doesn’t really matter. Also, are there fudgesicles in the Star Wars universe? If not, then the designers have a flimsy excuse.
