Speed limit
Even Texans admit it – they don’t really care about the speed limit. This sign is another example of the fine self-humor of the south. You know the people who find the expiration date on dairy products to be only a suggestion? That’s how Texans see the speed limit – a suggestion rather than an obligation.
But joking aside, I sure hope this isn’t a real road sign! But this sign demonstrates a healthy sense of self-humor, something that Texans are known for. Yes somehow they make it work for them; perhaps this sign should be considered more of a warning for visitors.
