Oliver Kahn’s Actions Made Bayern Munich’s Official ‘Vomit’
Although he is considered one of the best goalkeepers to ever play the sport, German player Oliver Kahn’s life off the field was fraught with controversies. In 1999, he married his then-wife Simone, and they had a daughter in 1998. But just before the birth of their son in 2003, some awful news was made public about him.
Bayern Munich’s commercial manager Uli Hoeness said Kahn’s behavior made him “vomit” when, days before his wife gave birth to their second child, Kahn admitted to having an extra-marital affair and subsequently left her for the other woman who was 21-year-old Verena Kerth at the time.
