When you think about how much time and effort you put into something, it is always a little bit hilarious to carve a pumpkin and then have to throw it out a week later. This is especially true when you consider how much time and effort you put into it. In the end, pumpkins are nothing more than vegetables, and nature intended for them to rot for the same reason that other vegetables do. This is true of all vegetables.

It is possible to preserve the carved pumpkins that you spend so much time on, as demonstrated by this antique pumpkin that has shrunk over the course of several years. Simply because this teeny-tiny pumpkin is just as horrifying as it was before, but now it looks like an elderly man.
