Even though the present isn’t exactly as people thought it would be in the 1980s, it’s pretty darn close. For example, flying drones can deliver parcels, cars use electric batteries, and robots can vacuum and mop our floors. But that’s not all robots can do!
Someone spotted a robot politely crossing the street and asked the internet what was up. One of the repliers informed OP that the robot was delivering food to customers at home. We don’t know whether this is common in DC, but we can bet that the robot ended up utterly destroyed somewhere.
