A gelatinous blob
If you found a mysterious object on the beach, what would be your first instinct? For us, we’d take a picture of it and leave it the heck alone. That isn’t what this person did. Instead, they picked up the gelatinous blob with their bare hands before snapping a shot. That’s pretty risky, but we commend them for their bravery.
Thankfully, they didn’t need to worry about the blob having invisible barbs or being poisonous. This was apparently a collection of giant sea snail eggs. After about four weeks, this 100-plus sack of eggs will hatch. We don’t know whether these snails made it out alive to tell their tale.
