7. Try Not to Get Lost

These limestone giants, soaring up to 300 feet, shelter a less inviting spectacle: over two million bats and their vast layers of guano, turning the ground into a slippery, odorous carpet.
Dare to venture further, and you’ll wade through a sea of Malaysian cockroaches, thriving in the guano-rich environment. But the challenge doesn’t end there; if you withstand the bat aroma and roaches, the caves also host snakes, scorpions, freshwater crabs, and the formidable three-inch giant scutigera centipedes.
