Once a bustling German medical hub, the Beelitz-Heilstätten now whispers tales of its eerie past. From treating tuberculosis patients and soldiers from both World Wars as well as the Soviets, its walls have seen profound and uncomfortable history.
Today, amidst its partial use as a rehab center, much of it stands abandoned, its surgery and psychiatric wards decaying into scenes straight from a horror movie – a haunting destination for the daring, but maybe too spine-chilling for the faint-hearted.
