#27: A Clean Kitchen
Every single family has a different definition of what a “clean” kitchen means. Some people are fine leaving dirty dishes in the sink at the end of the day. Others need every surface to be spotless after dinner is served and the dishes are washed. This family’s definition of a clean kitchen involves multiple steps.
First, you have to load the dishwasher and start it. Some families would stop at this task, but not this family unit. Then, you have to make sure the counters and stove is wiped down and all the crumbs are picked up. If there are some leftover dishes that didn’t fit into the dishwasher, you have to hand wash those and put them away. This seems like a ton of work, but waking up to a clean kitchen in the morning is worth it.
