Fishing at Niagara
If sitting around staring at lights isn’t your kind of thing, then Niagara can always find something else to keep you occupied. For all you avid fishermen (and women) out there, it just so happens that the Niagara River is a great place to cast your line out and catch a whopper.
You’ll need a permit, but once you have one you’ll come across dozens of fish species. You can fish for things like trophy trout, salmon, smallmouth bass, walleye, and many more, all year round. You can charter a boat, or fish from the riverbank, whichever you prefer.
