#31: Almost There but Not Quite
Getting a new stove is an exciting event. So much so that sometimes people forget to measure twice, cut once. This kitchen was newly renovated with all new and improved appliances, including an oven and a hood vent. There’s just one big problem…
The hood vent is completely off-center from the oven! Not only is it a visual eyesore, but the placement of the hood vent is going to make it less efficient since it’s not directly over the stovetop. Someone didn’t think this through! Here’s hoping this was a DIY mistake and not one made by a professional contractor. That would be an embarrassing rookie mistake if that were the case.
