Know How to Pet Your Cat
Here’s an extremely helpful chart for anyone who plans on adopting a cat in the near future. The chart shows which parts of a cat you’re allowed to pet and which you aren’t. This chart applies to any cat, including lions and tigers (we think).
The only place you’re allowed to pet a cat is its head and neck, especially behind the ears. To shoulders and front legs are fine but keep away from its paws, especially the pink pads. And for the love of everything that’s holy in this world, do NOT attempt to rub its belly. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
