Many shows get sequels and reboots after a successful initial run. Whether those extra shows are well received is a whole other can of worms. Sometimes a show has simply run its course and doesn’t need to be made again. Even so, we think this handful of shows from the 60s, 70s, and 80s, could use a modern day rework (even those that have had a reboot over the years). We can’t guarantee good results, though we could guarantee more exciting adventures with characters we all know and love.
#1: The Twilight Zone (1959–1964)
The Twilight Zone is one of the most popular shows of the 1960s that has a cult following to this day. This anthology series of mind-bending, moral tales has had spin-offs over the years, in some version or another, but it would be interesting to see what some of these strange tales might look like in 2025, with today’s technological abilities and social landscape.
