For many Boomers, the assassination of President John F Kennedy during a presidential motorcade in Dallas, Texas, is the first political event that many Baby Boomers will remember. For a lot of them, it signified a loss of innocence, and it didn’t help that it was a live broadcast to classrooms all over the country.
