If there’s one thing in the world that we’re absolutely certain about, it’s that sports and fast food do not go hand in hand. However, this doesn’t stop fast-food chains from spending millions on athletes just to get their logo on a jersey or a sticker on a racecar hood.

Back in the 1990s, McDonald’s was one of Bill Elliott’s biggest sponsors. Following his Darlington victory in the mid-90s, Bill announced that he was starting his own team with sponsorship from McDonald’s. However, he never won a race while driving this car, but it was still a momentous occasion for both Bill and the fast-food restaurant.
