Jessie T. Usher – JJ Shaft (Shaft)

In the latest installment in the Shaft franchise, Jessie T. Usher steps alongside his father (Samuel L. Jackson) to help solve the case of his friends death. The only problem being is that Usher doesn’t give the franchise the same vibe that Richard Roundtree, and Jackson once did.

Although Jackson reprises his roll well, Usher fails to invigorate life back into the Shaft saga, holding the movie back from being a potential blockbuster.
