The long awaited inauguration of the ministers to the Federal Republic of Nigeria is finally here. Who will be holding which portfolio has been the debate over the few months and now we have the results.
As expected, Mr Babatunde Fashola of Lagos state is one of the key ministers whose portfolio is going to affect the lives of many Nigerian, he is the new minister of power, works, and house – three in one. Having been trained as a lawyer, Fashola has distinguished himself as an excellent administrator with the way he handled Lagos State administration for eight years.
Considering the fact that the wealth of every nation revolves around power, one will understand Nigerians excitement of the appointment of someone with tract record as Fashola to handle that sensitive portfolio. Whether he will deliver to all Nigerians on this is another question entirely.
