Will Ferrell’s Personal Space
I’m going to have to take this one with a huge, humongous grain of salt (or three or four). There is a significant amount of background information that has been omitted from this account; consequently, I believe that it is very possible that Ferrell did not act inappropriately in this circumstance. Was he absent because he was attending a family gathering, was he ill, or was he involved in some other activity in which he did not want to be disturbed?
Being a celebrity would be a terrible experience because there will always be fans who believe they are entitled to your time and attention. You could be sitting by the side of the bed where your mother is passing away, and a fan could ask you for an autograph and then complain about it on the internet if you declined their request. Therefore, I’m not going to pass judgment on Will Ferrell just yet.
