It Was All a Blur
In sensitive cases, the public should not be told everything. Preserving the names, appearances, and specifics of a crime from the public is sometimes required in order to solve it. To avoid identifying him by name, they labeled him Mr. X in the press. For protection’s sake, he was dubbed “Mr. X.”
Blurring his face in the mirror would have been a good idea, but they failed to do so. His side reflection was left unchanged, and the new name isn’t going to help when friends see him. This is embarrassing for Mr. X as well as the paper alike. Where’s the editor hiding?
