Store Your Fresh Herbs Like Flowers
Some gardeners choose not to freeze fresh herbs because they don’t mind the loss of flavor. Instead of storing them in their original bag, you can fill a cup with water and cover it tightly with a plastic bag before putting it in the refrigerator.
Without proper sealing, harmful bacteria will enter the container and cause your fresh herbs to wilt and rot. To keep your herbs tasting their best, make sure to seal out air from entering the storage container.
