Cristiano Ronaldo Becomes Real Madrid’s All Times Highest Scorer

It is Real Madrid vs Levante in the 8th game of the 2015/2016 season taking place in Estadio Santiago Bernabéu, Madrid, at exactly 30 minutes of play, Cristiano Ronaldo picked a pass from Toni Kroos, cut in and latched a short into the back of the net to become the Real Madrid all times highest goal scorer in all competition in the history of Real Madrid FC.

With this goal which his 324th goal in Madrid’s shirt, Cristiano Ronaldo successfully takes his place as Real Madrid biggest legend, a position and record that will take more than will power for anyone to ever break. And to do it in such a few number of games makes it even more special.

Cristiano Ronaldo has also won a Champions League, a Liga title and two Copa del Rey crowns during his time at the Bernabeu, as well as claiming the last two Ballons d’Or ahead of Barcelona rival Lionel Messi.

How many goal will Ronaldo have with Real Madrid before he retires? Only time will tell, and by the time he finally say goodby to football with Real Madrid, I wonder if anyone will ever stand any chance of ever breaking his record. The only chance will be if he leave Madrid now. Congratulation to Cristiano Ronaldo!

Di Stefano (308 goals) – In a career that spans 11 seasons at Real Madrid, Stefano won eight Spanish titles and scored 218 goals in 282 games and was the Spanish league’s (now La-Liga) top scorer in four consecutive seasons. He also played in five consecutive European Cups finals scoring in all five. Di Stefano was named European Footballer of the Year in 1957 and 1959.

Raúl González (323 goals) – Raul is no doubt a legend in the history of Real Madrid, he is considered to be one of the greatest Spanish players of all time and one of the most important player who ever played for Real Madrid. His career with Madrid spans 16 years where he became the club’s all times highest scorer with 323 goals in 741 games before Ronaldo broke the record.

1. Cristiano Ronaldo (324 goals and still counting…) – Ronaldo moved from Manchester United to Real Madrid in 2009 in record breaking deal that worth €94 million (£80m). Within his first season in Madrid, he scores 33 goals in just 35 games despite injury.
