#12: Crimped Hair
If your hair wasn’t big, it was crimped. An ’80s crimping iron was as big as a waffle iron and made our hair into fun, zig-zagging patterns. We spent hours burning our hair (and possibly our skin) just to look like a palm tree, and it was great. Nowadays, hair looks flat, boring, and lifeless. Every decade, it seemed like our hairstyles were getting bigger and better, but they took a turn sometime in the ’90s. Curse you, grunge!
