An ancient weapon?
We’ll never know how this person came across this old piece of weaponry, if it even is that. At first glance, it looks like a tool that can deal some serious damage. However, on the top side, there’s an empty bowl. What kind of madman would create such a thing?
After asking the internet, the OP learned that this was actually a carpet stretcher, which we think helps stretch out carpets for some reason. We get that the spiky side can latch onto a carpet and stretch it, but what’s the empty bowl for? Making pancakes? That sounds as ridiculous as a carpet stretcher!
