Let’s be honest for a second. Thanks to the internet, we’ve become a lot nosier than we normally are. Or maybe it’s because of the internet that we have a place to actually show off our nosiness. In this case, one bus passenger was curious as to why a couple of nuns were wearing circlets with purple dots.
One helpful internet user told the original poster that these are Crowns of the Five Holy Wounds and for Bridgettine nuns. We don’t know what they represent, but we’re guessing that all Bridgettine nuns have to sport them. That’s pretty cool.
