#7: Not All Agents Are Action Heroes When it comes to federal and special agents, it’s easy to think they’re all fit and able to take on any challenge that comes their way. But the reality is, there are some agents who aren’t quite as capable as their on-screen counterparts. Sure, there might be specific units within these agencies that are trained to fight, but the average agent is probably better suited to a desk job than a fight scene. So, if you’ve ever wondered why the FBI and CIA agents you see on TV always seem to be so badass, it’s probably because they’re not the average agent.
#7: Wimps Let’s face it: when it comes to physical altercations, the former FBI and CIA agents we know and love weren’t exactly the bravest of the bunch. Sure, they may have been sharp and highly trained in the art of espionage, but when it came to a tussle, they were not the ones you wanted in your corner. The truth is, when it came to a physical altercation, these agents were told to drop their bags and run if they could. It’s no wonder they were so secretive about their jobs – they weren’t exactly the toughest of the bunch!
