#30: Darn Cats…
When it comes to the success rate of different species, many things influence the probability of a species standing the test of time. Not only do certain species need supportive environments to prosper, but they also need to be far away from predators if they want any shot at survival.
Apparently, particular birds in Australia don’t stand a chance against feral cats. The rate at which these cats are killing Australian birds is almost incomprehensible. How can these cats possibly kill more than 1 million birds a day?
